To overcome anxiety and depression, you ought to find out their roots. A common symptom is being nervous and depressed, hence leading to anxiety as well as panic attacks. It is possible to stay away from depression and anxiety disorders if you can practice to calm your mind as you relax. Consider these tips if you want to overcome depression and anxiety:
Get original essayHaving positive thoughts will limit the possibility of an individual’s feeling anxious, depressed, helpless and irritated. On the hand, negative thoughts can affect work performance as well as daily activities. Being positive is an effective way of relieving anxiety and depression. Do not allow unnecessary issues to stress you.
Some people feel anxious because they have a poor sleeping habit: they work continuously without resting. Getting enough sleep is of great significance as far as dealing with depression and anxiety is concerned. Enough sleep helps individuals to focus and feel fresh so that they may not feel depressed, irritated and tired. So, having enough and quality sleep at night and if possible go to bed as early as possible. In fact, if you can fix your sleep, you will find it easier to fix your life.
Apart from creating good health, exercise has several benefits. During exercise, you will feel good chemicals are being released into the brain. If you develop a systematic exercising program, it will be easier to train the brain to shift away from its focus from just feeling bad.
If you practice deep breathing daily, you will not find it difficult to stay calm, even when you are stressed about something or somebody. With deep breathing, victims of depression and anxiety have clear mind and thoughts, since they are under control.
People use journaling in different ways. You can consider keeping a record of sleeping pattern. Record things, for instance the time you go to bed. With the record, it is easy to determine the sleeping pattern. The same thing can be applied to anxiety and depression cases.
If affirmations are used correctly, they can be tremendously powerful. The best way of using affirmations is saying them out loud. Likewise, for them to be effective, they ought to be positive and always in the present tense.
According to the cognitive behavior therapy, emotions are created by individuals’ thoughts as well as interpretation of events of life. So, moods together with feelings can only be changed by changing or restructuring our thoughts. With positive perspective, you will have a positive lifestyle.
People often do not achieve what they want for reasons that lie in their heads. For example, excessive shyness and embarassment do not allow talking with the boss at the right time or paralyze in negotiations. Inability to defend one’s position harms not only career, but also personal life, relationships with friends and relatives. It’s well known that it’s very easy to manipulate a gentle person. Therefore, shyness in our time is perceived more as a disadvantage than a positive quality.
Get original essayIf you have not seriously wondered how to get rid of shyness, but do not know where to start, then first imagine how a too soft person looks from the outside. People seriously think about a problem when they are clearly shown how excessive politeness interferes at a crucial and important moment. If you watch shy guys who are trying to make friends, it turns out that they look extremely ridiculous and unattractive. And in such a situation is any person who does not know how to stop being shy, reserved and insecure. To do this, you do not have to be a guy who wants to meet a girl. Shyness can ruin any important situation for you, be it a work meeting or a friendly party. From the side it seems that shy people are nothing and they are easy to use in their interests. It is important to realize that in society they are greeted by clothing. In this case, the ability to give oneself, to arouse interest in one’s personality is implied.
At the root of self-doubt lies fear. Some people start to panic at the moment when they are asked to speak in public. There is such a strong emotion that it can literally paralyze speech, confuse. Confident people, too, experience a slight excitement when necessary to speak in public, but this is in no way comparable to those feelings experienced by timid men and women. To begin with, understand that this kind of fear will not lead to anything good. Any fear protects a person from danger, but in this case, fear is not justified and, instead of protection, gets in your way. This is the feeling that sits inside the mind and inspires you with the thought of the opinions of others. At such moments, the most unbelievable and implausible scenes of what other people can think of you may be played out in front of you. Often later it turns out that they were busy on their own and did not notice those oversights that you made.
So, we found out that the root of the problem lies in the fact that you look too closely at the opinions of other people. You are as if afraid to move so as not to hurt anyone. But, for example, when riding in a crowded bus it looks a little strange. But modern dynamic life just resembles such a bus, where many people and everybody is pushing. If you want to stop being shy, withdrawn and insecure, you need to understand that all this is just your inner feelings and experiences that have no real justification.
If you are aware of the problem and understand that you need to deal with it, then first you will have to make the first attempts. They will be the most painful, but they are necessary. This is similar to vaccination during an influenza epidemic. Unpleasant, a little painful, but sometimes vital. Therefore, if you do not know how to stop being shy about a guy or a girl, then just start making attempts to communicate. At first, they can be awkward, but each time it will turn out better. As a result, you will find that you forgot to think about how to approach a person first, how to show sympathy first, start a conversation. It will come suddenly and very soon.
A good way to get rid of shyness is with a goal setting strategy. If you really need something (especially if your future life depends on it), then you will not hesitate and doubt, you just go and ask. Or take other actions that work in your favor: start negotiating with your superiors to raise your salary, speak publicly in front of a full stadium of people, meet an interesting person, or express a long-standing sympathy to a colleague without being afraid to look ridiculous. You must clearly understand how to stop embarrassing yourself and stop thinking that others are better than you, and your fate is to stand aside and let everyone pass because you are not good enough. Other people don’t think of you like that, but you let them manipulate you if you don’t know how to set boundaries.
Words play a huge role. Start by getting rid of introductory words and inappropriate phrases in your communication. Learn to speak beautifully and confidently, attend oratory courses. Perhaps they motivate you to shine in public with the skills of confident possession of the word. You should be as polite as your normal daily life requires. Do not thank for the favor a hundred times, do not apologize for your every breath, do not sprinkle with words of politeness in dialogues with other people. Go to the point immediately after the greeting. This will begin to get rid of shyness. And remember: the main thing is to decide! After that, the process of getting rid of shyness will start itself.

Most importantly, have faith in God, talk to your family and true friends. You need to share your problems order for you to be relieved.
I realized that life is so easy but we insist on making it complicated. Once I have gain myself-realization and started on the path of self-discovering. I will learn to be able on taking the next step of beating depression. Realize my talent and skill so that I can fulfill my own dreams, understand own worth and utilize that knowledge to the fullest. It is not the thing around make our happy, it is what their inside of that truly pleases our inner self. Asking other people what them happy is pointless because only we can know what makes happy and bring joy to our lifeThe sentence should be revised to "Asking other people what makes them happy is pointless because only we can know what makes us happy and brings joy to our lives.". And I also believed in the saying that “When depression takes over and I cannot push through it, I have to close my door and shut them out, it is only to survive”.
By juxtaposing the childhoods of Perry Smith and Dick Hickock, Truman Capote shows that although a solid family structure is the most important influence on a person’s character, it is ultimately up to each person to decide what his actions will be. Factors like home structure, parental guidance, and socio-economic background are often taken into consideration when trying to understand a murderer’s motive, but criminal behavior can come from anyone.
Get original essayMany people believe that a stable household is the most important factor in raising a stable child however, the contrast between Dick's secure family, and Perry's broken home shows that both lives are capable of producing a criminal. Dick was raised in a “normal” home, with a mother, father, and brother. Dick and his family, like the Clutters, had family meals and spent their evening watching television together. Dick had everything he wanted as a child, and when he got married, he and his wife continued to live their lives as if they could have anything they wanted. For that reason, they were always in debt. To fix that, Dick began passing blank checks. If Dick had been taught that you don’t always get everything you want, perhaps he wouldn’t have passed blank checks and ended up in prison where he met Floyd Wells and planned the Clutter murder. Perry’s parents were rodeo stars, so he and his three older siblings were constantly traveling. His mother became an alcoholic and his parents split up, his mother taking the children with her to San Francisco while his father stayed in Alaska. Perry yearned to be with his father, but when he went to live with his father in Alaska it was not as good as he imagined. He hated him for not allowing him to get an education and for treating him like his slave. Perry turned to crime, possibly as an act of rebellion, which landed him in prison where he met Dick Hickock. The way that Dick’s family never held him accountable for his actions, as well as the way Perry’s family always gave him a hard time about his mistakes are both two extremes that could lead to the personalities of Dick and Perry when they committed the crime. Dick’s family was always supportive of
The way that Dick’s family never held him accountable for his actions, as well as the way Perry’s family always gave him a hard time about his mistakes are both two extremes that could lead to the personalities of Dick and Perry when they committed the crime. Dick’s family was always supportive of him, but never blamed him for his faults. He never was held accountable for his actions. When Mr. and Mrs. Hickock tell Mr. Nye about Dick’s childhood they talk about how he divorced his first wife, Carol, for a woman named Margaret Edna. About the divorce Mrs. Hickock says: “Dick couldn’t help that. You remember how Margaret Edna was attracted to him.” (p.166) This shows that despite the fact that they believed his first wife Carol was a lovely girl, they do not believe he is to blame for divorcing her and instead blames his second wife. Later they remark that Dick has “plenty good inside him” and his father says he doesn’t know what happened to Dick to turn him to a criminal. Dick’s mother says “That friend of his. That’s what happened.” (p.167) Dick’s mother blames Perry for changing Dick from the good person he used to be, despite the fact that he was gambling, writing bad checks, and possibly cheating on his wife before he even met Perry in prison. Contrarily, Perry’s family never supported him, and his sister and father are quick to chastise him for what landed him in prison. While Perry is in prison for theft, his sister writes him a letter and says “I truthfully feel none of us have anyone to blame for whatever we have done with our personal lives.” (p.139) This is quite the opposite of what Dick’s parents say when they blame every one of Dick’s mistakes on someone else. Unlike Perry and Dick’s families, the Clutters practiced a healthy balance of encouragement and expectations. Nancy and Kenyon were not forced to do good, but instead enjoy helping others because of the example set by their father. When Mrs. Clarence Katz asks Nancy if she could teach her daughter make an apple pie, Nancy already had a busy day planned, and could have easily turned little Jolene away, but because she decided it was more important to help others first, she rearranged her full schedule to fit Jolene in. All of Holcomb wonders how Nancy has time to be so successful and selfless in so many things, but their answer is “She’s got character. Gets it from her old man.” (p.18) This is not something Nancy’s parents could force her to do, but something they had to teach her with hopes that she would want to make the right choices, unlike Dick and Perry. As shown by the other criminals on death row with Dick and Perry,
As shown by the other criminals on death row with Dick and Perry, socio-economic background is not always an influence on whether or not you become a criminal. While Dick came from a lower-middle class family and Perry was raised in poverty, many of the other criminals they met on death row were from upper class families. Two other prisoners on death row, Ronnie York and James Latham, were from wealthy families and were members of the United States Army. Perry also attributes his criminal behavior to the fact that his father never allowed him to go to school, however Lowell Lee Andrews, a twenty-year-old who shot and killed his mother, father, and sister, was an honors student at Kentucky University. These other criminals are important contrasts to the unstable childhood one might believe caused Perry and Dick’s criminal behavior. These three murderers had no reason other than their own sick motivation to murder their victims, just like Perry and Dick.
As shown by the differing lives of Perry Smith and Dick Hickock, as well as the other criminals living on death row with them, no one is accountable for the actions of a criminal besides the criminal themselves. Although a hard childhood or difficult family life may influence those decisions that led to their crimes, no one is responsible for someone else’s actions.
Students always feel overwhelmed after graduation but also find themselves in a dilemma about financial issues. It is recorded that an average 21-year-old carries a student loan and has to make a loan payment of $393 every month. Here is a guide to help you clear loans faster as well as save and invest.
Get original essayMaking the right financial decisions is important in the proper allocation of money. You should always have a clear idea on the ratios of income to expenses. Preparing a budget gives numerical figures on how much you must save or invest. Also paying for student loans regularly is important because you can learn about How To Pay Off Student Loans Faster by adopting the best methods listed on websites like The College Monk. Using various methods and enrolling in repayment plans helps in reducing the burden and boosting your credit scores. Here are a few ways listed to help you eliminate student debts.
By organizing your expenses, you must make a list of loans, their interest rates, and the respective dates to make monthly payments. You must prioritize which loan payments must be made first and try making the minimum payments on time. This helps avoid the extra interest to accrue, penalties, harm to your credit score, or summing of financial charges.
One of the simplest ways to clear loans is by prepaying with an extra amount. You could also make regular payments on time and use the extra amount on clearing the balance on principle. So you must be aware about where you're investing the extra amount on and instruct your loan servicer prior, to using the payment made on the current balance and not on the payments for the next month.
Budgetary plays an important role in analyzing the cash flow to prioritize the expenditure. As a graduate student, you must be responsible for transitioning finance which calls for preparing a budget. According to priorities, you must choose to pay the student loans first, then save for retirement, emergency funds, and then the investments on car hours. Knowing what you earn and how much you can spend helps in paying loans as well as saving simultaneously.
When paying student loans is a priority, you must list the loans in an order with the highest amount and interest. Paying off the loans that cost more helps you clear a big burden where you'll be left with smaller loans to pay later. Usually, the high-cost debts include unsubsidized loans where the interest is accrued while you were still at college or a credit card debt where the interest rates can be as high as 20%.
Consolidate your federal loans by combining multiple loans into one single loan with a newer interest rate and term to repay. This helps in getting one due date and eliminating the stress of missing payments. Borrowers can also get lower monthly payments to make and lengthened period to over 10 years to manage their finance and make investments simultaneously.
Student loan refinancing is another option where you could complete all private loans and obtain lower interest to make payments according to your creditworthiness. This is an advantage to those who can afford to make more payments and want to clear the loans sooner.
Repayment plans are federal programs that help you qualify for plans to make lower monthly payments to make over a long period. Income-driven repayment plans help in deduction of only 10% of the overall income you gain and the period would be over 20-25 years. With 10% spent on the loan repayments, you could use the other portion on savings and investment. However, the loan payments are increased gradually as the income increases.
Use the grace period as a bonus: after graduating, you are provided a period of six months where you don't have to make payments. Use this time as an advantage to make savings and settle at a job. You could save on rent, groceries, bills payment, utilities, and others. Focus on building your security funds or investing on a property. Inventing in a property helps in generating income when you rent out the property. This income can be used to make loan payments and the extra income generated from the job can be used in saving.
A Scholarship is a reward given to students based on their performance in standardized tests. It is free money given based on your caliber and one must always choose this over borrowing student loans as it is not required to be paid back. It can be given based on merit, athletics, art, and special interest. There are various scholarships sponsored by colleges, universities, private organizations, the government, and others. But you gain more chances of winning a scholarship, you find the right one to align with your goals. Research on various Best Scholarships available based on your qualification and requirement.
After paying off your high-cost debt, You could also take advantage of the employer-sponsored retirement plan where you could offer a percentage of your income to save for your retirement. A 401(k) plan is a long-term plan to help you save for retirement and can reap the benefits of the free money at the time you reach 59½ years. This helps in supporting your lifestyle post-retirement. While you are making regular payments of the loans, you could save money in this plan involuntarily for the future.
Use windfalls wisely: you could also clear loans and save money by the extra money you receive such as a signing bonus, work bonus, tax refunds, and others.
Paying student loans could be difficult while there is an imbalance in managing finance. Hence, you could use various methods in an appropriate way and make decisions wisely. In addition, there are other simple methods to become debt-free such as biweekly payments where you make 26 payments a year, try enrolling to autopay where you are offered a reduction of 0.25% interest rate on a loan. Paying off the capital interest helps in reducing the extra accumulation of interest and helps in clearing off loans sooner.
Drunk driving is a topic that brings many emotions. I personally think that it’s something that could be stopped by a couple of different methods. Every day 29 people are killed as a result of drunk driving. Which is 1 every 52 minutes. I believe that it could be stopped, prevented, or at least rare. One person’s actions really do affect others. It’s like a snowball effect. There are always consequences. Either someone could end up dead or a really bad accident that affects other cars that are around which means more people that could get hurt. Which affects more families plus the drivers. A lot of the time in a drunk driving incident the drivers are rarely the ones who end up getting killed. So they aren’t the ones taken from the rest of the world the people who pass away are the ones who were clueless not knowing why their life was taken. The smallest decision can impact the rest of the world whether you know it or not. A Proven Way to Save Countless Lives, Reducing Drunk-Driving Tragedies and Ignition Interlocks are all methods that could prevent drunk driving.
Get original essayThe laws they have for BAC have changed since 1993/1994. The current BAC for 21+ is 0.08 or higher and for people 21- is 0.00 to 0.02. Some people argue that the BAC for 21+ should be lowered to 0.05 because of the lives that could be saved. For example, Marcus Kowal said “I have also learned that every U.S. state sets the blood alcohol concentration limit at 0.08–and that if the limit were lowered to 0.05, countless lives would be saved.” after he lost his son because of a drunk driver. Many arguments have surrounded that. People claim that it’s too low and one drink could make them pass the BAC which could also hurt some businesses. Which is nothing compared to losing many lives. Some states have specific BAC limits for commercial drivers and drivers who have previous DUI offenses. So if they are arrested more than once they could get a punishment specific to them. Before there was any kind of BAC the first man was arrested for drunk driving in 1897. He didn’t harm anyone but crashed into a building and was arrested and pled guilty and was fined 25 shillings.
Some other laws include the ignition interlock which is a breathalyzer. The drivers need to blow into a mouthpiece on the device before starting the vehicle. If the breathalyzer or ignition interlock shows they are intoxicated the ignition interlock prevents it from turning on but it can’t turn the vehicle off due to safety reasons. It could also pop out while driving. But it isn’t dangerous. It doesn’t take a long time to blow into it and you can go about driving. Alabama, Arizona, Connecticut, Delaware, Utah, and some other states have a law that requires mandatory ignition interlock devices. Past drunk drivers have said that that has helped them stay sober while driving and if they drink it’s not enough for them to drive fully intoxicated which saves lives.
Another method that could prevent drunk drivers from speeding is speed bumps. They could simply be placed in some places and anyone who’s sober shouldn’t have a problem with it but an intoxicated driver could pass it and ruin their car which is their problem. But they could also possibly run over someone or an animal. Although speed bumps could be over $2,000 that’s nothing compared to losing a life. The speed bumps are made to slow drivers down. It can help people remember to slow down or something they need can be ruined and life can be taken. Families’ lives could be ruined if they don’t slow down and they could ruin the front of their car which they then have to get fixed which could be a lot of money depending on the car.
There are many different ways to prevent drivers from driving drunk. There’s an app called uber that people can use to deliver food or takes people places which is helpful so drunk drivers can stay in one place if they want food or if they do wanna leave they can uber which is having someone driving for them while they’re keeping others around them safe by not driving. If they don’t have the money for an uber which is approximately 2 dollars per mile. They could stay at the place until they are sober enough to drive or until they could get a ride home from a friend or someone they trust that would help them until their sober. If they know they will have no one to help they shouldn’t do something they will end up regretting.
Anyone can be affected by drunk driving one way or another. About 29 people die a day due to vehicle crashes caused by alcohol. In 2010 10,228 people died in drunk driving crashes and 345,000 were injured. Of the 1,233 traffic deaths among children ages 0 to 14 years. So it’s not just the adults being affected its children as well. 10,228 families were ruined due to someone getting behind a wheel while being intoxicated. An estimated 8 teens die per day in car accidents. This means that they will never be able to live their life because someone did something that could have been prevented. Even a small amount of alcohol can lead to harmful situations. This is why there are arguments about the BAC being 0.05 instead of 0.08. I see both sides of the argument. If the BAC is lowered businesses could get hurt and if it stays the same people’s lives could be at risk.
In 2016 10,497 more people’s lives were taken by drunk drivers. One of those people was Liam Kowal. His aunt was pushing him in a stroller when a 72-year-old woman was drunk driving when she drove through a crosswalk that hit his aunt and himself. His aunt was left with injuries that were not life-threatening but Liam was left brain-dead with a beating heart which meant his parents had to make the decision to take him off life support. Liam was only 1 year old and his life was taken away. Many families like Liams have to make hard decisions like that daily due to an intoxicated driver. It’s hard to lose someone and can happen to anyone. Being out and you knowing you driving safe and sober but that might not be the case for someone near. Nobody should have to feel unsafe driving or being in a motor vehicle. Even though there are always crazy drivers having fewer drunk drivers could save many lives. One person’s actions could change someone’s life. One person’s actions could end it.
I think the laws for drunk driving should be way more strict. They shouldn’t have to wait for someone to get killed to suffer major consequences. For example, on June 2nd of 2010, my aunt was killed by a drunk driver. Her, my cousin, and her friend were on their way home from a friend’s house when they stopped at the gas station to put gas. When her friend was driving out of the gas station a car came out of nowhere and hit my aunt’s side of the car (the passenger side) which made the car flip 5 times. The car then caught on fire causing 75% of my cousin’s body to burn. My aunt’s friend was left with a broken leg and some head injuries. My aunt wasn’t so lucky and never regained consciousness. Luckily there were 2 bystanders to help all 3 of them out of the car. One of them, however, burned his ear trying to save my aunt. The other bystander called 911 and 2 other bystanders stayed with the drunk driver who was unharmed. He was going 95 mph in a 45 mph zone. It was not only his 2nd but 3rd time driving under the influence. So my aunt passed away, my cousin is left with scars for the rest of his life and people will always ask what happened, the people who helped now have scars as well, and my family was left with broken hearts. My cousin is growing up without one of his moms. The man who caused the accident has only served 9 years and could possibly be released soon which is my point exactly. People are killed and the person responsible gets very little time. They could be let out and destroy many more families. They are able to get released and forget about what happened while the families stay hurt for the rest of their lives. Yes, some people could be left with minor injuries but others are left dead and families don’t deserve to feel that pain knowing they lost someone because people were being irresponsible. They should think twice before getting in the car and taking off to wherever they feel is necessary to leave while being intoxicated.
Yes, there are people who pass away because of a drunk driving crash but the people who do survive suffer as well. People could go into comas for years which worries the family every day not knowing if they would wake up or never wake up. Survivors could also deal with depression if they lost someone in the accident or witnessed the accident happen. They could suffer from PTSD which is a disorder that makes it difficult to recover from witnessing or experiencing a terrifying event. So even being in the car could cause the victim to have a panic attack. This affects their family and friends because they have to be patient with them and understand what they went through and they wouldn’t be the same person they knew before the event. If they suffer from anxiety their families need to be able to handle their anxiety attacks and help them relax which could be physically and emotionally exhausting for them both. The families have to be able to be there when they need someone and make sure they aren’t starting to think of the event or see something that could trigger an anxiety attack. They could also deal with survivor’s guilt which is when they feel they could have stopped what happened or they did something wrong by surviving when others didn’t. Even though they could have done nothing to stop it there’s a feeling inside them that makes them feel like they could’ve which could be hard to live with. Yes, they could go on medication but it could change their personality so there’s always gonna be a change in the person. So drunk driving could lead to many problems which affect more people than it seems. The families and friends of the victims and the friends and families of the drivers. The drivers aren’t usually the ones who end up passing away because their bodies don’t stiffen or go into shock because their intoxicated. So their families don’t suffer from the loss. They are still able to visit them while they are in prison but the families that lose their loved ones have to go to the grave to be close to them.

Get custom essayDrunk driving isn’t a mistake it’s a choice people decide to make. They know what they’re doing when they get behind the wheel. They know all the consequences of their actions. If they are old enough to drink and drive they are old enough to deal with the consequences. The drunk driving laws should be a lot more strict and people should be a lot more aware of what they’re doing when they’re doing it. So many innocent people die a year because other people do whatever they want without thinking of who they might end up hurting. They not only kill people but leave others scarred for life. If they do end up killing someone they could get a sentence of between 3 and 15 years of imprisonment or between 5 and 20 years with no parole for at least 1 year. Which could never make up for the pain family and friends have to go through. Yes, they should be given a second chance but if it’s the 3rd time they should have learned their lesson and suffered more consequences because if they continue to do it they could hurt someone, kill someone and wreck many families.
Preface: Why & how he got around to writing the book and how he felt after hearing all the critiques. The critiques showed him how no matter how an author thinks they’re writing their book it will always be perceived a million other ways.
Get original essayIntroduction: There are lots of ways to interpret a text how ever not everyone will agree with the way one way interpret. A normal person will usually just read the words how ever a professor will read between the lines and use memory, symbol, and pattern.
Chapter 1: There can be many layers to one story and one way to look at a story is as if it is a quest. A quest in each story can be understood differently from each reader depending on what they decide to make connections to and how they decide interpret. Quests usually have five key components to make it a structurally sound quest; a quester, a place to go, a stated reason to go there, challenges/trials, and the real reason to go (self knowledge).
Chapter 2: Not everything needs to have a symbolic meaning, sometimes it really isn’t that deep. How ever sometimes things like eating food really are deeper than just eating food and you need to read through a different perspective. Communion keeps people together and makes people have different vibes with one another even if there is something that sets them apart. Deep reading makes you catch things in a different light. Communion isn’t always religious. Eating a meal together usually means you like each other or have some sort of business to talk about.
Chapter 3: Ghosts and vampires can symbolize more than just ghosts and vampires being frightening, they can symbolize outcomes that occur in real life that may frighten people. Vampires help show selfishness, exploitation and rudeness. They symbolize people and how they use others and take advantage. Though there can be the same type of plots in many different books each books have their own meanings set in different times and places. Ghosts and vampires don’t always have to be directly mentioned to compare a character to one of the creatures or to anything. There are many commonalities between the past and present nut there are also many differences that help set stories apart.
Chapter 4: Making connections to past stories and noticing repeated patterns between different books is hard but with practice it is possible. There is no one original story, every story has something borrowed from another story because everyone has similar experiences in life.
Chapter 5: Shake spears work is everywhere and it helps to know his work so you can recognize when its used in a similar fashion.
Chapter 6: The bible is often referenced in books, whether if its obvious or whether if you have to really think about it. How ever it does not always have to have a religious message it is simply there because of how involved in life it is. Names of characters should be seen as symbols, the names should help you learn more information about each character.
Chapter 7: The canon is a list of important texts (there isn’t an actual list) , the list is always changing and is different for everyone. Fairytales are very common and popular within in books because everyone usually is familiar with some type of fairytale where as not everyone has read or heard of the same book. Stories usually relate universally and help connect people to real life.

For example rain can be seen as cleansing someone or it can be just another dramatic effect in a story. Symbolic meaning are also within snow, fog, rainbows, wind, etc. Weather is very important in a scene.
Chapter 10: It helps to be able to know how to identify what each character is in each story, especially the protagonist. Death is very common in books and help keep the story interesting. Though its easy to connect with characters they still re not real people, they are just apart of our imaginations and how we choose to perceive them. Some characters are round while others are flat, meaning some are more important than others.
Interlude: Everything within a story was meant to be there, nothing was accidental, it all has a purpose.
Chapter 11: Violence can be plot based or character based meaning it can be something the character has complete control of such as fighting someone or something that happens to the character that he does not have control of such as getting sick. Violence usually always has some type of symbolic meaning.
Chapter 12: Symbols are everywhere within literature. They can never mean one specific things because not one specific person interprets things exactly the same. How ever allegories always have one specific message, you have to think deep to find it but its always one specific message the writer wants you to figure out.
Chapter 13: Historical context is very important when it comes to reading, the more history you know, the more of the book you can interpret deeply. Writers usually use current events in their lives to write their stories. For example texts from the 90s and earlier may include a lot of racism or feminism because those were huge issues during that time. Knowing information about the author can help understand their books better.
Chapter 14: Characters can posses qualities of Jesus. Usually it is not hard to notice references that are christian and even if you may have other beliefs you can notice them. Reading isn’t about what you believe and how you feel, reading is supposed to make you feel a certain way at some point depending on whats written and how you perceive it. Christ like figures often represent sacrifice, redemption and hope. Features that make christ are; crucified, wounds in the hands, feet, side, and head, in agony, self-sacrificing, good with children, good with loaves, fishes, water, wine, thirty-three years of age when last seen, employed as a carpenter, known to use humble modes of transportation, feet or donkeys preferred, believed to have walked on water, often portrayed with arms outstretched, known to have spent time alone in the wilderness, believed to have had a confrontation with the devil, possibly tempted, last seen in the company of thieves, creator of many aphorisms and parables, buried, but arose on the third day, had disciples, twelve at first, although not all equally devoted, very forgiving, came to redeem an unworthy world.
Chapter 15: Having the ability to fly usually always represents freedom. Often dying represents freedom too, your soul rising into heaven. Another example is when a plane explodes and the people fly through the air and somehow survive. Flight also can symbolize escaping, returning home, and love. Experiencing flight should always cause questions to arise as to why the flight happened and how did things change.
Chapter 16: Sex is and always has been apart of humanity since forever how ever the views on sex have indeed changed. Many things can be thought of as as sex, from trains entering tunnels to keys being placed into locks. Sexual symbolism is everywhere. In older literature sex is usually written in metaphors.
Chapter 17: Writers use other things to bring up sex rather than directly talking about sex but when they do directly talk about sex it has a deeper meaning. For example it can mean freedom, power, enlightenment, control, etc.
Chapter 18: Baptism within a book usually symbolizes a rebirth, a way of showing someone has grown after being submerged under water. How ever when they do not reemerge from water it usually just means they died and they usually die because they were suffering in some way.
Chapter 19: It is important to analyze geographical location because more often than not the locations symbolize things. Places can represent safety, like the suburbs, or they can represent craziness and wilderness like a jungle. The setting of the story can affect the actions of the character. Highs and lows (hills an valleys for example) are commonly used by writers to represent different thing ranging for purity and clear views to death and unpleasantness. Geography can symbolize the mood a character.
Chapter 20: The seasons often represent ages for example spring correlates to childhood, summer to adulthood, fall to middle age, and winter to old age. The seasons can also represent youth, romance, tiredness/harvest, and death. Each season can represent a type of emotion such as passion, anger, freshness, and exhaustion.
Interlude: All stories are similar, they all come from one thing but are told differently. Intertextuality means everything is connected and archetype means pattern.
Chapter 21: Scars that are explained in books always have a significant meaning, they can explain the persons past and what happened to them. Physical appearances are also a symbol, they can show whether a person is evil or good however sometimes looks can be deceiving.

At some point in our lives, most of us have found ourselves in situations where we feel like we are under too much pressure mentally. This kind of stress may come from literally any aspect of life, but it is mostly attributed to work. Specific life events may also cause stress such as losing a loved one or even getting fired. In such moments, it is advisable to seek quick relief to reduce the pressure; it has serious consequences that may also be life-threatening. If you ever find yourself suffering from stress, consider using one or a few of the following remedies to reduce it:
Get original essayTalking to someone literally makes the burden easier to bear. When you reach out to someone (especially one who is close to you, say, your best friend), you will be able to unload the emotional baggage, and such people can help you resolve the problem.
Take time to think back and see why you are stressed out. Is it work? Do you have too much to do in a short time? Once you find the root of your problem, you can find ways to solve it. This will automatically take away your stress (or a significant amount of it.) For instance, you can get someone to do some of the work for you.
Working out helps you take your mind off the things that are stressing you, and it is likely that after a good session you will be more prepared mentally to handle such challenges. This is because putting your body in measured amounts of physical stress helps in restraining the production of mental stress hormones. Also, working out enables you to gain confidence and feel good about yourself which is quite helpful when tackling stressful tasks.
Sleeping helps your mind rest and refresh. Depriving yourself of sleep will tire out your brain, and you will not be able to think straight. When your body is relaxing, the brain produces a neurochemical called serotonin which is useful in reducing pain and stress levels.
When you are stressed out, seek the company of the people you love. Their support will help you overcome depression more easily.
Conclusively, there are also prescriptions that your doctor can give you to treat severe depression. You can, however, seek natural treatment before turning to drugs. They are the most effective and have no side effects.
Anything that negatively affects a man’s sexual pride is indeed a sexual disorder! One such disorder is Penile Dysmorphic Disorder. What exactly is PDD?
Get original essayPenile Dysmorphic Disorder, abbreviated as PDD, is a mental illness or disorder. It is a condition in which you, as a man, are obsessively focused and ashamed with the shape, size or length of his penis. It is thus a form of Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) also known as dysmorphophobia. BDD is where one is obsessed with his or her physical body defects which are not real but imagined.
While the “willy-fear” is often linked to shape or size, it may include other concerns such as its network of veins, angle of curve when fully erected, and penile skin colour.
You probably have dark-coloured glans penis. Or is yours pink? Do you constantly feel depressed because you think men with pink glans penis are sexual champions?
May be your penis is curving sideway like miniature bow when fully erect! Your fear is that it’ll never track your woman’s G-spot and nail it for that magical orgasm you keep fantasizing about. Eehee?
Perhaps you are only obsessed by its size. You think it’s too small that its full length will be swallowed into your partner’s hands with no chance for jobs to blow!
Do you know that focusing on your penis can be for a very minor reason, or simply imagined! For no reason at all! Yes, just in your mind. Not real in the physical. That’s why it’s called a disorder.
If you have some of the fears mentioned above, then your state defines PDD. Nothing makes a man feel smaller than being convinced that his penis and that of dik-dik (Madoqua) are twin brothers! But, you are not alone, brother! You are not alone.
Of interest is that when suffering from PDD, you will be a mirror-lover! You will always be willing to stretch yourself further-including stretching your penis! It is only the mirror you can freely allow to willingly watch your willy!
Of course yes! According to a research publication on Psychology of Men and Masculinity, a survey showed that out of 25,000 mean interviewed, half of them felt dissatisfied by the size of their penis. Out of this 45% wished their penis could be longer. A different search further revealed that out of 250 men who complain of having an abnormally small penis, a whole 98% actually had standard or normal size penis sizes. Only 2 people accounting to 0.8% actually had micropenis. This demonstrates that PDD is indeed an imagined disorder.
As a male reader, you’ll definitely feel better if your penis length can be increased, even just little, right? Well, it’s often difficult to realize that indeed your penis size is the normal size. Our minds sometimes just enjoy playing unnecessary “sexual games” with us!
Men who suffer from PDD prefer having sex in darkness! They never let their partner’s eyesight or hand get closer their willy. Well, this is practically true because that which they can show-off, is that which puts them off! What does this lead to? A very boring “dark sex” clouded by deeply seated fears.
9 Signs of PDD that You Must Look For
Out of the nine questions, if you answer yes to two or more, chances are that you are suffering from PDD, and need support.
Cosmetics/Pills/Lotions-Do They Work?
And so in an attempt to fix your condition you may resort to all manner of creams. Hoping that they will make your penis breath with power: get longer, curve smoothly, appear cooler, and screw better! Poor man! They are not a solution.
These creams have adverse impacts that may as well cost you your precious penis. While there are promotions for a wider variety of pills, creams, vitamins for enlargement of penis, there has been no scientific evidence to support their effectiveness.
Apply chemicals or taking pills that are not prescribed is a huge risk that you should not take in trying to “balloon” your penis. Before you take any pills or apply uncertified cream on your penis, please consult your doctor first. They may end up screwing up your screwing plans!
Penis Stretching-How Effective is it?
You may decide to physical stretching of your penis, doing it each day and intensely. This may lead to physical injuries, and permanent damages that even specialized doctors may not rectify. Doctors warn that intense stretching of penis damage penis’ blood vessels and can cost you your precious tool. You are warned.
Penis Surgery-Is it Safe for Your Penis?
Many believe that a “huge penis leads to a better sex” .This is influenced by porn industry and advertisements where huge-penis owners are perceived as sex professionals! Well…may be some! But this is bullshit! Don’t buy this notion.
With overwhelming pressure, you may decide to go for surgical operations such as penile augmentation. This is a cosmetic surgery to increase both the length and girth of your penis.
Medical reports reveal that there are many risks involved in such procedures leading to permanent deformities. A publication in International journal of Impotence research describes penile enhancement surgery as a high risk procedure.
Penis Rings-Are They Safe?
There is a rigid penis ring specially designed to enlarge your penis. It requires that you pull each of your round balls through the ring followed by your penis. Uiiich! Just how far can you go to be sexually cocky!
Be warned…
Wearing this ring for a longer duration can however cut off blood floor to both your penis and balls and damage your entire penis packages!
Penis Pumps-Are The Good For Your?
Do you stretch up your penis with a vacuum pump for a better and longer penis length?
While they may cause temporary gains, they will expose you to huge risks including pumping off your erection! They are known to adversely damage penis tissue and hence not recommended.
Are There Safer Therapies For You?
More research in the effective treatment of Penile Dysmorphic Disorder is still needed. However, there are some actions you can take in dealing with your PDD condition.
The first step is taking note of compulsion acts you involve yourself in as a way of reassuring yourself that you are sexually normal.
For instance, how often do you masturbate or measure your erection to compare with what you believe is the ideal erection size?
Do you avoid getting into relationships based on the fear you have?
How often do you search for information on the internet regarding penis enlargement?
All these are compulsion behaviors that you can try to avoid by putting much effort.
You can also see a specialist whose strategies can help you manage your situation. While there is currently no universally agreed method of managing PDD, you can be assisted in adopting two main approaches as put forward by Dr Wylie and Mr Eardley in their publication “Penile size and the “small penis syndrome”. These two approaches include:
Getting relevant education from a specialist on how you can manage your fears. This may involve what is termed a Mirror-Work approach. This involves watching yourself as you undress in front of a mirror while watching your penis as you would watch other people’s penises. This way, your penis will appear larger than you tend to think.
Undergoing Psychological Treatment Therapies. This involves behavioral therapies that are cognitive in nature or simply Cognitive Behavioral Therapies (CBT). These will help you build your self confidence thereby crashing negative thoughts about your penis being substandard!
Penile Dysmorphic Disorder as with other Body Dysmorphic Disorders is a common clinical disorder. It has been found that PDD also leads to erectile dysfunction. This is due to the state of your mind which is obsessed with fear. More research is however still needed to help develop suitable psychological remedies.
Many treatments that purport to treat PDD like use of lotions, devices or surgeries have been found to have adverse effects. Further, there has been no consensus or proof that they will effectively eliminate PDD since this is not a physical disorder.

Your customers expect you to deliver quality products. If you do not, they will quickly look for alternatives. Quality is critical to satisfying your customers and retaining their loyalty so they continue to buy from you in the future. Quality products make an important contribution to long-term revenue and profitability. They also enable you to charge and maintain higher prices.
Poor quality increases costs. If you do not have an effective quality control system in place, you may incur the cost of analyzing nonconforming goods or services to determine the root causes and retesting products after reworking them. In some cases, you may have to scrap defective products and incur additional production costs to replace them. If defective products reach customers, you will have to pay for returns and replacements and, in serious cases, you could incur legal costs for failure to comply with customer or industry standards.

Quality assurance: Consistency, efficiency and productivity We address this topic with three questions:
Simply stated, quality assurance is assuring quality. In our personal and business lives, we all have excellent tasks, procedures and processes in place that are not executed correctly – as specified – every single time. Quality assurance is assuring that tasks, procedures and processes are executed exactly as intended every time. Quality assurance sounds simple. Let me assure you; it is not. We go to educational meetings, read materials, talk to our colleagues, study our records, hire consultants and build on our experiences in deciding what inputs to use, procedures to follow and, in general, make decisions to maximize or optimize productivity, efficiency and profitability. The resources available and these decisions establish an unknown but real maximum potential outcome. Any and every time these decisions are not implemented exactly as specified, performance will fall below that potential. Let’s look at some examples:
Why is quality assurance important? Quality assurance is needed to enable success. It is not something that is needed because people are stupid or unmotivated; it is needed to attain the excellence required to go to that new, next level of management. Let me share a personal example of quality assurance. I am an avid fan of the University of Minnesota women’s hockey team. For the last several years I have been responsible for receptions held after the games for members of the team’s fan club. I have had to plan these receptions three to four times a year. Early on, I developed a checklist that I use for each reception. Did I develop the checklist because I don’t know what to do, am unmotivated or stupid? No! I developed and use it for two reasons: to ensure that I don’t forget one or two of the many details and so I don’t have to waste time recalling everything and doubling back to do things I overlooked. The checklist is a quality assurance tool to enable me to have everything ready for every reception.
This is the most important message of this article: Quality assurance is necessary to enable ourselves and our employees to succeed. What are some examples of quality assurance? A key to reaching this new, higher level of management is to expand our concept of developing tasks, procedures and processes. In addition to specifying the task, procedure or process, each time we need to also explicitly design a quality assurance program to ensure the potential is reached. In agriculture, we have too often referred to all quality assurance as developing SOPs (standard operating procedures). SOPs are needed for quality assurance in situations, like the milking procedure, where tasks must be completed in a specific sequence. Where the sequence is not necessarily crucial, as in my reception checklist example, an SOP is not appropriate, as it overly controls the person completing the process, likely reducing motivation. Checklists and to-do lists are two of the many additional tools for quality assurance. A checklist is best used for a list of tasks that must all be executed correctly to successfully complete an activity. The order is not critical to the performance of the tasks or activity, but each must be completed each time the activity is performed. A to-do list is great for identifying tasks that need to be completed or as a repository for tasks to be completed when time is available.
Quality assurance is a system companies use to review products, and the production system, to ensure consistent, quality results. Manufacturing organizations, as well as service industries, can employ quality assurance techniques. A quality assurance system can help your company identify weaknesses and inconsistencies in the service or production method.
Quality assurance systems identify areas that result in scrap, or products that don't meet company specifications. When the company reduces its number of defective products, it experiences scrap reduction. Scrap reduction results in savings; identification of defects early in the production process decreases the cost to the company, because fewer man-hours and materials have been used. Time Efficiency A quality assurance team can reduce the amount of inspections required in a manufacturing organization. The quality assurance team is separate from the production group, and can therefore be objective in identifying time-wasting areas during production. They also ensure that production workers don't use valuable production time to inspect or evaluate the production system.
The quality assurance system improves the quality of products and services, which increases customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction leads to repeat business, customer referrals, increased sales and profits. A quality assurance system eliminates defective products and continuously evaluates the process to improve products and services. Quality assurance can result in a consistently reliable product or service. Increased reliability in the end product results in customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. Companies with reliable quality gain a favorable reputation in the industry.
