Overview

After choosing a research topic of interest based on your degree plan for your dissertation, you will complete the Annotated Bibliography: Business Topics and Concepts Assignment. This assignment is designed to help you begin to explore ideas and concepts you find interesting, relevant, and purposeful within the realm of Business and Organization and Management. This exercise will also serve as a springboard in research for your dissertation. Selecting quality references for your dissertation are important to your research and writing. Additionally, a sound dissertation is rich with credible sources. To assist you in achieving this goal, each annotation should provide a summary of key points of the article as well as an evaluation of the quality of the publication and author(s).

Instructions

• Provide a title page including your name, course number, term, date, instructor and topic.
• You must use the Jerry Falwell Library.
• Identify a minimum of 7 scholarly journal articles from peer-reviewed journals addressing your research topic.
• Peer-reviewed journals from a credible association such as the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) may also be used on a limited basis.
• All references must be less than 5 years old.
• 250 words for each reference
• Description of why this is a credible source (author(s), publication, date)
• Ensure that the document follows proper APA formatting.
• Summary of Key Points of the article
• Evaluation of the Quality of the Publication
• Evaluation of the Quality of the Author(s)
• Discussion of how this reference supports your topic in Business / Organization and Management.
